I completely agree on the reasons by your paper given to choose r. Barack Obama as president of the USA. I live in Chile and follow closely the events in the States and the world at this time.
There will be this extraordinary opportumity to select a black person as the president of the U.S. and it is such an important fact that will attest to the civility and patriotism of americans as an example to show to the world that this is really a land of the free and the home of the brave.
Its so important as to probably make it difficult for some to understand that it is really happening...a black in the seat of the president of the USA. Its not a light comment. I am aware as most americans that there is a history that bespeaks of prejudice and bias that has in the past done away with the hopes and dreams of people who at various times were the listeners of leaders such as John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and so many years back, Abraham Lincoln, etc.etc. Pray God that it won..t happen this time around...

Obama will be the Jimmy Carter of the 21 st century. That is, the worst President ever of the USA reencarnated, only with a change in skin´s color.
Obama will put in danger all the things that had made proud his people of being american citizens.
