THE BOTTOM LINE ?
it was not the kind of farewell that personalities get when they just leave office or whatever, and the kind of recognition usually shown by the presentation of a golden watch and other memorabilia that wil be teasured for ever. Shoes, particularly second-hand shoes are not appreciated souvenirs.It wasn´t meant to be that.. yet coincidental with almost the date of his departure. It was something totally unexpected and fortuity linked, as it were, to his final days in office..
To sum up the work of a man of stature whose decision-making , unwillingly or unwisely, led the life of so many to destruction, unnecessary destruction., with the steady acquiescing of silent or unresolved majorities.
to no gainful purpose, except a few....
An unsolicited slap in the face not of just one man.....
